Massage — Massage therapy is the assessment and treatment of the soft tissues and joints of the body by hands-on manipulation.
Trigger Point Therapy — Trigger points are manifested as small contraction knots in the muscles, that control the state of contraction and active ones may cause muscle spasm and referred pain.
Joint Mobilisation/Manipulation — Passive movement of a joint (or spinal segment) within or beyond its active range of motion.
Post Operative Rehab — Skilled in all the recommended orthopaedic protocols for the following areas: shoulder, arm, elbow, hand, wrist, neck, spine, hip, knee, leg, foot, and ankle.
Pilates — The program focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced to provide spinal support.
Interferential Electrotherapy — Tiny electrical impulses are induced into the tissues in the vicinity of the injury. Where these waves intersect below the surface of the skin, a low-frequency stimulation is created. This prompts the body to secrete endorphins and other natural pain killers to help relieve pain.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation — Small amounts of electrical current are induced into the tissues for the purpose of reducing swelling. It is an effective form of pain relief.
Ultrasound — Sound vibrations penetrate the tissues deep in the body, creating a heat response. These vibrations and heat help break down and disperse unhealthy calcium and other hard tissue accumulations.
Intersegmental Traction — It is a way of inducing passive motion into the spine for the purpose of stretching spinal joints, increasing mobility.
Laser — Application of light to increase the speed, quality, and tensile strength of tissue. In addition laser, repairs tissue, resolves inflammation, and offers pain relief.
Dry Needling — Use of a solid needle has been found effective in relief of pain in muscles and connective tissue.
